The chances are that the real estate brokerage/office who lists your home will provide adverts in local newspapers and real estate magazines. While these adverts look good and may impress sellers, the chances are that they will not sell your home. This will probably be done by someone (either another Realtor or the buyer) searching the MLS for homes that meet their criteria.

The adverts that appear in local literature are more likely to generate additional listings for the brokerage than they are to sell your home.
