4th Quarter 2023 Housing Market Update
The median sales price for a home in the 4th quarter of 2023 remained unchanged at dead on $500,000. There were positive numbers in the number of homes sold which increased slightly (up 3.81%) with 2586 sales. Also, homes sold faster with the median days on the market falling 11.43% to sit at 31 days.
Single Family Home Sales
For the 2nd quarter in a row, single-family home prices increased in the 4th quarter, climbing 3.16% to $579,990. This was on the back of slightly declining home sales which dropped 1.74%. Homes sold faster, taking 32 days to sell which was 8.57% faster than the same quarter last year.
Condo Home Sales
While single-family home prices went up, condo prices did the reverse with a small 1.15% drop in sales price. The median sales price for a condo stood at $349,933, on a positive note condos did sell 14.29% faster taking a median of 30 days to go under contract. There were also more condos sold, with a total of 350 units sold, an increase of 17.06%.
