Bountiful is located in Davis County approximately 12 miles from Salt Lake City. It was Utah's second settlement and was first settled in 1847. It remained a small farming community until the 1950's when expansion from nearby Salt Lake City caused the population to grow rapidly. Bouniful is nestled along the base of the Wasatch Mountains with neigborhoods perched up the slopes of the east bench, providing great views of both downtown Salt Lake City and the Great Salt Lake.
