Home Buying Advice - Comparable Sales in The MLS

The MLS or Multiple Listing Service is a location where Realtors can deposit details of their home for sale listings, these details can then be seen by other Realtors and members of the public.

What most people don't know is that the MLS also records the sale price for homes that are sold. This information is only available to Realtors and Appraisers.

Your Realtor can use this information to provide a CMA or comparable market analysis for other similar homes that are for sale. This information can then be used to determine if the home(s) you are interested in making an offer for are listed for a reasonable price.
