
New Homes Development - Daybreak Utah
When complete the Daybreak new homes development will be the largest planned community development in Utah, comprising of over 4000 acres and 13,600 homes. It is located in South Jordan on the west bench, on land that belongs on Kennecott, a Utah mining company.
Each community is planned so that is close to parks, schools, retail and Church's. In addition to this 1/3 of the land has been set aside for open space, in the form of parks, sports fields, hiking trails and a even a lake!
Oquirrh Lake will be 85 acre when complete, it is located in the center of the development and will surround an island. Phase one of the lake which is 35 acres has already opened.
The communities are designed to include the traditional elements of Salt Lake City communities, incorporating tree lined avenues and porches.

Eastlake Village
Phase II of the community call Eastlake Village is now being sold. The new home builders for this phase are:
- Bangerter Homes - 2, 3, and 4 bedroom single family homes from the $290's.
- Destination Homes - Single family, rambler and 1.5 story homes priced from the $300's.
- Holmes Homes - Town homes starting from the upper $100's. Carriage Homes starting from the upper $100's. Parkside homes priced from the mid $200's. Single family homes from the low $300's.
- Liberty Homes - Cottage Courts and single family homes starting from the mid $200's.
- Rainey Homes. Single family and rambler homes priced from the mid $400's.
- Richmond American Homes - Paseo homes priced from the mid $200's. and single family homes from the low $300's.
There are also some new builders that have been introduced to this phase:
- Hamlet Homes. Town Homes from the mid 200's. Mansion homes from the high 200's. Single family homes from the 320's.
- Village Communities. Homes designed for active living people who want a high-end maintenance free home. Prices start from the high $300's.
- Garbett Homes. 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom, condos starting in the $160's.
